Brand new duo closegood release their first ever song, "Omen" and its companion video today. This track is the first release of a larger collaboration with Anthony Kilhoffer (Michael Jackson, Kanye, Kid Cudi). Just like their sound transcends genres, existing somewhere amongst trip-hop, rap, experimental, spoken word and dark pop, individually they are not confined by any gender binaries nor social norms with both identifying as transgender, and their music boldy explores these beautiful complexities.
Songwriter Nyfe and producer Amada found each other during a period of depression in college that they both shared. They began making music together, seeking an escape and belonging -- "Omen" was one of the songs created on their journey to healing. More to come from these misfits soon.
